Our History and Future vision
Hiyoshi inaugurated business in 1955, established Hiyoshi Koseisha limited in 1958 as a company of collecting domestic wastes and human wastes, maintenance of water, sewage and other living facility, analysis and environment research and consulting. After reorganizing as present "Hiyoshi Corporation" in 1997, we looked into the global environmental problems and with our solid techniques, we approached into more advanced chemical analysis such as dioxins, endocrine disruptor, sick-building syndrome, bioassay with the sprit of "Think of Ecology". We will try to provide more high quality services as well as we will put our effort to develop international business. Our goal is to become a total environmental service company of the 21st century and to create a beautiful environment.

1958/12 Establishment of the company
1960/4 Began environmental maintenance-related businesses including septic tank maintenance and management, management of waste treatment, measurement and analysis of water quality and chemical substances, environmental research and consulting, and total management
1965/4 Contracted the operations of water quality management of Meishin Expressway from Japan Highway Public Corporation
1968/9 Started business in cleaning water receiving tanks, cleaning pipelines and the maintenance and management of community plants.
1969/11 Started sales of pharmaceuticals and industrial chemicals (deleterious and poisonous substances).
1976/3 Registered for environmental measurement certification business (concentration).
1978/1 Designated as authorized analyzing institution (potable water test) by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
1978/1 Designated as authorized analyzing institution (management of water receiving tank and air environment measurement) by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
1979/3 Registered for environmental measurement certification business (noise and vibration).
1979/6 Designated as an authorized measuring institution for working environment measurement by the Labor Standards Office.
1979/1 Licensed for industrial waste disposal business.
1980/6 Commended by the Shiga prefectural governor as an excellent organization in the promotion of environmental conservation.
1981/1 Registered for electrical work business. Licensed for waste metal trading. Licensed for secondhand articles dealing.
1983/4 Commissioned to provide an examination facility for national technical certifications examinations (chemical analysis).
1983/12 Commissioned to carry out maintenance and management of Otsu Clean Center by Otsu Clean Center by Otsu Industrial Waste Processing Public Corporation.
1984/4 Commissioned to carry out total operation and management of Okishima Sewage Treatment Center by Sewage Works Section of Ohmihachiman city.
1984/6 Licensed for general construction business.
1984/12 Affiliated with Shiga Environment Maintenance Cooperative Association and designated as analyzing institution by the Association.
1984/12 Commissioned to carry out maintenance and management of Maki Purification Plant by Water Supply Office of Ohmihachiman city.
1985/1 Registered for septic tank maintenance business by Shiga, Gifu and Aichi prefectural governments.
1986/4 Commissioned to carry out the maintenance and management of relay pumps of the Konan Chubu regional sewerage system.
1986/5 Registered as a working environment measuring institution under the Cooperative Safety and Hygiene Improvement Promotion Program for Small Businesses by Japan Industrial Safety and Health Association
1987/6 Licensed for the sale of general high-pressure gas.
1988/3 Registered for maintenance and management of sewage treatment facility by the Ministry of Construction, No. 62-53. (Only one in Shiga prefecture)
1989/2 Registered for pesticide sales business.
1989/7 Registered for fertilizer sales business.
1989/12 Received note of appreciation by the Shiga prefectual governor for great contributions to technical training of overseas technical trainees.
1992/11 Received note of appreciation for contribution to national technical certificate examination (chemical analysis).
1994/1 Change the company name to HIYOSHI corporation
1994/7 Licensed for general motor truck carrier business
1996/11 Commended by the minister of Labour for contribution to national technical certifications.
1997/1 Completion of Technical Center
1997/11 Commended for international contribution on environmental problems.
1999/3 Certified for designated water testing institution by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
2000/6 Contracted for CALUX® Assay license agreement with Xenobiotic Detection Systems International, Inc.
2001/5 Registered of poisonous and hazardous substances manufacturing business.
2001/8 Certified for contracted research on Dioxin measurement by ministry of the Environment (for year 2001)
2002/1 Registered for Clinical testing Institution.
2002/4 Certified for contracted research on Dioxin measurement by ministry of the Environment (for year 2002-2003)
2002/4 Commissioned to carry out maintenance and management of Mabuchi Purification Plant of Shiga prefectural Chubu Water Office.
2002/11 Awarded first Shibusawa Eichi award from the governor of Saitama prefecture.
2002/12 Contracted for CALUX sole-agent in Japan with XDS
2002/12 Registered for Specified Measurement Laboratory Accreditation
2003/1 Registered for Specified Research Laboratory under Soil Contamination Countermeasures Law
2003/3 Obtained ISO9001 certificate
2004/3 Registered for Water Quality Testing Laboratory accreditated by Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare.
